Manais (Manish) Old Township

This image is of part of the old township of Manais, on the Isle of Harris. The small building with its roof stilll intact, used to be the old Post Office. Manais now consists of more modern dwellings and is situated only a few hundred yards from here, on what is almost a single track road called "The Golden Road".
